01 THE ODDS
Most day traders lose money. Do you want to be one of them?
Researchers followed every day trader in Brazil's futures market for years. Of those who kept going for more than 300 days, 97 out of 100 lost money. The few who make it rarely got lucky. They put in the screen time and tested their plan before they put in the money.
The 97 or the 3? You choose by how you practice.

02 WHY REPLAY
Why every trader should replay.
Skill in trading comes from repetitions: seeing a setup, making a decision and getting feedback. Live markets give you a few of those a week. Replay gives you hundreds in an afternoon.
Try a session →- 01
More reps, faster feedback
Waiting days for a trade to play out teaches slowly. Speed up, step through and see the outcome of each decision in minutes.
- 02
No hindsight bias
The future is hidden. Start from a random date and you decide exactly like you would live: without knowing what happens next.
- 03
Practice the rare days
Crashes, parabolic rallies, news spikes and dead ranges. Find them in the history and trade them again until your plan holds up.
- 04
Build discipline before it costs money
Stops, position sizing and daily loss limits feel different when you practice them on every trade. Make mistakes here, not in your account.
- 05
Test an idea in an evening
Collect a hundred examples of a setup across years and markets. Let the numbers tell you whether it works, not your memory of the best trades.
- 06
Measure your progress
Every trade is logged with your reason, rating and result. Win rate, average R and profit factor show what to keep and what to drop.

Everything you use on a live chart, plus the controls that only replay can give you: pause, speed up, jump ahead, try again.
Any day, any speed.
Forex since 2003, crypto since each coin was listed. Start from a random date so you never trade with the answer in your head.
Fees, slippage, limits and stops.
Drag take profit and stop loss right on the chart. You are notified the moment one of them fills.
From the classics to community favorites.
RSI, MACD, Ichimoku, Smart Money Concepts, Squeeze Momentum, fair value gaps and more. Star the ones you use.
Rate every trade, write it down.
Why did you enter, which confirmations did you use, what did you learn? Your statistics point at your mistakes.
Pass the challenge before you pay for it.
Daily and total drawdown limits, profit target, minimum trading days. The rules are checked on every candle, and the replay stops you the moment you break one.
05 HOW IT WORKS
A year of experience in four steps.
Pick a date
Choose a market and a timeframe, and let the start date be random. Everything after it is hidden; the chart only knows what happened up to that moment.
Play and analyze
Step one candle at a time or play at 100×. Draw, add indicators and switch timeframes in the middle of the replay.
Place the order
Hit Buy or Sell and drag the take profit and stop loss lines. Risk/reward and the dollar amounts update as you move them.
Journal and improve
Rate each trade and add a note. Let your statistics tell you which setup makes money, not your gut feeling.
06 TOOLBOX
Everything you need on the chart.
From the Fibonacci family to Elliott waves, from volume profiles to order blocks. Drag the cards.

10 FAQ
Questions you might have.
What is bar replay?
Rewinding a chart to a date in the past, hiding everything after it and moving forward candle by candle. You decide without knowing the outcome, which makes it the closest practice to real trading.
How do I backtest a trading strategy manually?
Write your rules down first (entry trigger, stop, target, risk per trade). Pick a random date, replay the chart forward candle by candle and take every trade your rules allow. Tag each trade, and after 100 or more trades look at the win rate, average R and the worst losing streak in the statistics tab. If the numbers hold up across different years, you have evidence; if not, change one rule and test again.
Can I practice for a prop firm (funded account) challenge?
Yes. The challenge simulator applies a profit target, a daily loss limit, a maximum drawdown and a time limit to your replay account, so you find out whether your strategy survives the rules before you pay for a real challenge.
Is real money involved?
No. Every trade uses a virtual balance. Fees and slippage are calculated realistically, but no order is ever sent to an exchange.
Which markets are available?
42 crypto pairs since their listing day, 7 forex pairs with complete data since 2003 (NZD/USD since 2005; earlier years are thinner) and spot gold since 2009.
What does the beta include, and what does it cost?
Nothing: beta is free. Invited testers get 3 markets picked from their interests (for example BTC, ETH and SOL for crypto), the last 3 months of data, every timeframe and all the tools. We ask for honest feedback in return. Prices for a paid plan are not final and nobody is charged during the beta.
Is there a limit on how many candles I can replay?
Not on the timeframe: every timeframe works, including 1-minute candles. During the beta the history is the last 3 months; the full version opens everything since 2003.
Is there leverage?
No, on purpose. Position size is calculated from your balance and your risk per trade, so you learn to manage risk first.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Replay the Chart runs in your browser on desktop and laptop. Your sessions, drawings and journal are saved to your account, so they follow you to another computer.
Is this investment advice?
No. Replay the Chart is an education and practice tool. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
